THE UPDATE
COH “Big Test Day”: we spent the whole day in Duarte getting tested (well, that was just me…but Tracey was there with me the whole time!) to make sure I’m ready for the transplant. Looks like I passed…respiratory, cardiac, kidney, and all other systems ready to be stressed. Marrow clear of Lymphoma. And we’re trained up on the care and handling of the Hickman catheter, too. True to form, COH was super-efficient and had everything working as planned.
Here in T.O: my third cycle of RICE (chemo) was delayed until Mon-Wed next week. I’ll be at Chateau Robles Tues-Weds. Starting today was over-ambitious…my body needed a few more days of recovery time (per my blood counts). I was able to get my third intra-spinal treatment today, though.
And the foot is about the same…as randomly painful as ever. I’m eating my Turmeric and looking for a good local acupuncturist and will try anything that doesn’t involve live sacrifice. Patience…
THE MUSING
Stanford made it to the 16…but tonight’s game wasn’t so fun. Well, there’s plenty more action coming…track the tournament at http://www.ncaa.com/interactive-bracket/basketball-men/d1
WHATEVER
Thanks to Adam A, I now can get out and “walk” my dog down to coffee – the trial run this morning was great. Look for me on the streets. I feel liberated!

Hey Cliff, There’s a great acupuncture clinic just like the one I work in in North Hollywood (not sure if that’s too far for you) called Center Point Community Acupuncture. I recently met Mike, the practitioner who runs it, at a conference, and he seems great. Any questions about acupuncture, feel free to contact me at acupunkyoga@gmail.com Warmly, Jeff Levin.
