Got Blood?

Hi Everyone,
While Cliff is at City of Hope, the odds are very high that he will need a transfusion: either of blood or platelets. Our Stem Cell Transplant coordinator has asked us to let people know that City of Hope needs donations and if you are interested in donating blood or platelets, it would be very much appreciated.

We will be at COH from approximately April 29 – May 27. It’s going to be a long month, and we would love to see you. So come and visit and if you feel like it, leave some extra blood while you’re out in Duarte!

This is so essential. The book Journeys by the Massies describes in detail the challenges of patients needing blood donations. Appointment set for Saturday. Are you receiving visitors? Anything to bring (books, videos, mags)?

Because our “travel agent” booked our “big” trip to Israel & Turkey while Cliff is being re-booted we cannot join you in person. But we shall be there in spirit! We shall send positive vibes from around the world.

Unfortunately City of Hope can only collect blood at their own donation center. But thanks anyway !

Tracy and Cliff… Do you need anything? I am surprise you can have visitors. If you would like company let me know. Also, I would be happy to make a meal(s) for the family while you are at the hospital. Those at home need to eat and I am a pretty good cook. Of course, I can also do meals when you are home and feel like eating. Please let me know what I can do… I have been most impressed by all the prose… I think of you daily and send positive thoughts always.
