Quickie: What’s Next?

Thanks to all of you reaching out to see what’s going on – I just wanted to post a ‘quickie’ to fill you in…no musings or whatevers, just the facts!

  • Pain and symptoms are more under control with new steroid regimen and start of intra-spinal chemo treatment on Tues. Legs are weak and slow, but I’m still upright.
  • Planning to do every-other-day intra-spinal treatments until spinal fluid tests come back “clean”.
  • Got additional MRI images this morning of remainder of spine and brain to see if the nerve/spinal infiltration is localized to the very lower portion of the spine. Should have results tomorrow or Monday.
  • Based on results of additional diagnostics and how things go with our short-term plan, will research and map out mid- and longer-term plans over next week or so.

And that’s that for now. T&J home tomorrow for the weekend!

So, for those of you that subscribe to email alerts of new posts: I edit the posts sometimes after the initial email, so if you take a look on-line you might see added pictures or other changes. You can always check out the blog and old posts at https://cliphoma.org/ – the last post (with a few more pics) is at https://cliphoma.org/2014/10/14/it-aint-over/

More when I have it…

    Hi Cliff,

So sorry to hear about these recent events and glad to hear you’ve got a short term plan already in place and are beginning the research.

As always, the whole Chicago Cousin crowd sending prayers and good thoughts and all kinds of love to you and the whole family! Mark and I are looking forward to seeing you and the fam soon! In the meantime, if there’s anything we can check on from here, just say it.

    Love, Wendy
