Transition Planned

Just a quick update:

  • I’ve been tapering off of the steroids so I can start the experimental drug regimen (Keytruda)
  • Target start with Keytruda is now Mon 11/17 – and we have the drug available
  • I’ve been getting over chemo side effects as the chems (somehow) leave my spinal fluid
  • I’m getting weaker either due to atrophy, cancer, nerve damage, ???
  • We’ll see in a few weeks if the Keytruda can make progress against the beast.

In the meantime, your visits and calls are a comfort and help pass the time for sure. Sleep generally eludes me, and I’m often just “waiting”…

Talk to you soon,

Cliff.

    Dear Cliff,

I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been going through. It’s been a long time since we’ve spoken so I was shocked when I heard about your cancer from Nick. If anyone can fight this, you can. My prayers go out to you, Tracy and the kids.

    Feel better,
    Steven Seed

I just discovered this site after chatting with Hardev last night.

Just want you to know I’m thinking positive thoughts for you and hoping for the best possible outcome.

I’d heard you were sick a long time back but I thought that was all behind you.

Sincerely hoping you make a full recovery.

Cliff, I’ve been following you closely & keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Your musings spark my own thinking, especially your last message. The serendipity of your father’s mentoring of the friend who is now working with you on your experimental treatment shows how interconnected we all are, for good (or bad). Good, in this case! My love to you Nd Tracy. Flora
