A quick really good update. I feel human again! The last 2 days have included:
- all the numbers going in the right direction (blood, etc)
- wanting to eat (when did I last really want something?)
- wanting to eat ANYTHING (I was only able to really work myself up to soups and smoothies)
- sleeping! (I don’t think I’d slept more than 2 -3 hours most nights for quite a while)
- waking up feeling GOOD
- having energy…through the day
Yesterday was just an amazing day. With all the chemo and steroids/withdrawal for the last few weeks, the advance of the Lymphoma seemed to have been stopped…but I was feeling so lousy that little things like a heart attack and the beginning stages of the fungal infection in my lungs weren’t discernible. I came in here in pretty bad shape, and they fixed me!
Now, back on track to Keytruda! I should be back at home today or tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for the tremendous support and love that I know was part of this all working.

I am SO happy to learn of this good news! … I got up at around 5:00am, read your email, wasn’t sure if I was still dreaming… But now (10:30am) the email with the good news is still here— so it must be real!
