Circle Week

The Update

So, it has been an eventful week, but it looks like I’m back where I started as of the last post. To Summarize:

  • The Lymphoma has started to advance again, evidenced through symmetric pain throughout my lower body
  • I am back on intra-spinal chemo injections, but have moved to a long-acting version that allows a 2 week rather than every-other-day injections. This is “palliative treatment” since there is no chance for a long term remission as with Keytruda.
    • Since Keytruda can’t work alongside the chemo, and I can’t bypass the chemo, I am no longer taking Keytruda.

I have had only mild advance of any symptoms (i.e. walking, weakness/coordination left side of face paralysis), am sleeping and eating very well, and continue to enjoy each day and all the calls and visits it is packed with. But anything can happen any day, from the mild and manageable to the severe and life-threatening. My biggest fear is that my brain comes under attack, degrading my cognitive abilities and/or changing my personality.

The Musing

There are a lot of details to how we each run our lives – logins, credit cards, auto-renew accounts, payment processing/logging, etc. Documenting this is a daunting task!

Whatever

Another fine family dinner

Just letting you know I think about you every day. I appreciate the honesty of your writing and I’m glad Jordie and Anthony were randomly put on the same soccer team in kindergarten.
